FAQs

Everything you need to know

Who are your typical clients?

Our clients are awesome; their ultimate goal is marriage and they want their wedding day to be a true celebration and reflection of them as a couple. They’re not particularly bothered if it rains on their wedding day, as long as they get to walk down the aisle and get amazing photos. As a couple, guest comfort is really important to them; they want their guests to have a wonderful day.

Our clients like hiring professional vendors to get the job done properly; they trust us and know we will guide them in their decision making, to create their vision, whether it is incorporating special design elements personal to them or wowing their guests with a special moment.

Do you plan same-sex weddings ?

Absolutely ! We support marriage equality and have a team of fantastic vendors that would love to create a spectacular day for you. You can choose to host your wedding from our extensive list of awesome venues from the most fabulous Irish castles, majestic manors, boutique hotels to stunning coastal venues, or at a location of your choice.

What are your business hours?

We operate during normal business hours and would prefer to accept client meetings during that time. However, we understand that regular business hours may not suit a busy professional couple, so occasionally at evenings or weekends, availability for a consultation may be an option. Weekends are usually our busiest times with other client’s weddings and events.

Do you charge for an initial consultation?

Our initial consultations are complimentary, this is a chance for us to get to know each other and to determine what you need and how we can help you. Before we meet, we ask you to fill out our questionnaire, to get some information about your wedding. We will also call you at a time convenient to you to discuss your wedding and get a more detailed vision of your needs; this allows us to provide a more accurate quote before we meet.

What is your planning process?

Our planning process begins once we receive your inquiry based on the information you give us. We want to develop ideas for your wedding day as early as your first call. From there, we will send you a proposal. Once a signed contract and a 50% retainer are received, we hold the date and get to work planning your beautiful day.

Full Service Planning

Following our initial consultation, we begin pairing you with our “A Team” vendors that will best match your wishes and style. We set up and attend vendor meetings with or on your behalf and assist in securing their services. We guide you through the wedding planning process and help you keep track of all the details. While you are trying on dresses and doing the fun stuff, we will get to work on the logistics of the day, from start to finish.

Partial Planning

Following a consultation and depending on the level of planning you have already completed yourself, we will go through vendor recommendations, plan the logistics of the wedding, offer professional advice to manage the day for you etc.

Wedding Day Management

About 6-8 weeks before the wedding, we meet you for a venue walk-through and begin coordinating details with all of your vendors and develop timelines/final documents to ensure your wedding vision is brought to life.

All the above services include conducting the rehearsal and coordinating the wedding day. We love to learn from our clients and follow up after every wedding to thank you for allowing us to be part of your special day and to get feedback from you.

I’m getting married in a church - will you still do my rehearsal and ceremony?

Usually most churches prefer to handle the rehearsal of the ceremony, but we will be there to make sure they don’t forget anything, as well as go over the order of service, music timings, clarify set up items for the ceremony and handle any other issues – both before and on the day.

My venue already has an in-house wedding coordinator. Do I need a planner?

Yes you do. At wedding coordinator at a venue and a wedding planner are two very different jobs. The venue’s wedding coordinator manages the venue and the venue’s needs; they look after the catering, food and beverage choices you have made for your wedding and ensure your food is served on time.

Your wedding planner focuses on your needs to ensure a great wedding day. We manage all vendor relationships, ceremony, wedding day timelines, set-up, décor, etc. We are the number one point of contact for all parties involved. The wedding planner is completely focused on you to make sure that your vision comes to life on the day. We are there to sort out the logistical matters and to maintain your sanity so you can actually enjoy your day.

How much involvement will my planner have?

As much or as little as you want us! Our level of involvement depends entirely on the event-planning package you book and your personal preferences. Some clients want to relax and let us take care of everything they need on their wedding day. Other clients will have every little detail planned out and are just looking for someone to ensure their vision is carried out on the day.

Will my planner work alone or with assistants on my wedding day?

We will be your go-to person on your wedding day, but will likely bring at least one assistant, possibly two, depending on the size of your wedding to ensure your day unfolds flawlessly.

How much does it cost to have a Wedding Planner?

That all depends on the type of service you need and how much help you need with planning your wedding. We offer Full Service, Partial Service and Wedding Day Coordination.

If you have no idea where to start and are finding all the details are just too overwhelming or if you have a vision but do not know how to execute it, then our Full Service Package is for you. Maybe you have some of the planning done, but are having trouble in specific areas or you need someone to help you complete your wedding vision and tie everything together, then our Partial Service Package is the way to go.

Our Full and Partial Planning Services quotes are customized and specialised for each of our clients. Pricing is determined on a number of factors – how big your wedding is, what types of services you need us to help with, where your wedding is located just to name a few. Because each wedding is different and our couples have different needs and wants, we offer a free consultation to get to know each other better and how we can best work together.

If you have made all the arrangements for your big day and want to be able to enjoy your day stress free and enjoy all of the hard work that you have put into planning a perfect day, our Wedding Day Coordination Service is for you. We start working with you 4 – 6 weeks prior to the wedding.
We will tie up loose ends, confirm your vendors, develop your timeline and much more. We are with you from the rehearsal, all the way through the wedding day to make sure the day runs smoothly and is exactly how you envisioned.

Limited dates are available for Wedding Day Coordination services.
